Class Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher for daily supply, covering a mixture of teaching across KS1 and KS2, on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 3-form entry school located in the borough of Croydon.

This London-based primary school is seeking a strong Primary Teacher to join their team, covering a Year 1 class and providing support across KS1 and KS2 as needed. This role is part-time, available ASAP, and involves working every Friday with a mixture of class responsibilities across both Key Stages.

About the role:

• Prepare and deliver engaging KS1 and KS2 lessons
• Implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies
• Work alongside the Classroom TA to ensure lessons are effective
• Differentiate learning materials to ensure each pupil benefits
• Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to school development

Requirements:

• Must have UK-recognised QTS
• Strong understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
• A positive and ambitious attitude to teaching
• A willingness to uphold and enhance the school's ethos
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues, children, and external agencies
• Must be available for daily supply and able to commit long-term
