Physical Education (PE) Teacher (Part-Time, Fixed-Term)

About the Role

A well-established international secondary school in Central London is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join their team on a part-time, fixed-term basis.

This role offers the opportunity to teach engaged, high-achieving students in a multicultural and bilingual environment, with delivery of PE lessons in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons to secondary-aged students
• Plan and assess in line with departmental and curriculum expectations
• Contribute to the development of schemes of work and assessments
• Support extracurricular sport and enrichment activities where appropriate
• Work collaboratively within a dynamic and supportive department
• Actively participate in wider school life

Candidate Requirements

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent, or French qualifications such as CAPEPS, CAFEP, Agrégation)
• Experience teaching PE at secondary level
• Strong understanding of structured curriculum delivery (knowledge of the French curriculum is beneficial)
• English (minimum B2 level)
• Motivated, proactive, and able to contribute positively to a team

Additional Information

• 12 hours per week, typically delivered across 2 days (approximately 4 classes)
• All lessons can be delivered in English - no French language requirement
• Opportunity for contract extension beyond the initial term
