Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a General Manager to join our leadership team & oversee the daily operations, staff management, & strategic development of West Hall, West Byfleet ensuring customer satisfaction & commercial success go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Anchor West Hall, ensuring smooth and efficient running of all events and functions.
• Oversee and support the team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall business performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve any guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in a senior management role within the hospitality, event, or venue management industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on staff development and motivation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and implement business growth opportunities.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial reports.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

Operational knowledge of large multi-functional locations.
