Finance Assistant - Gravesend

An independent business within the construction industry are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join their accounts team. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the company's financial operations.

Your new role

  • Processing invoices onto the ledger
  • Checking invoices against statements and chasing for missing invoices
  • Processing the monthly payment run
  • Reconciling the credit card, PayPal, and cash book to bank statements
  • Preparing and analysing management accounts
  • Providing sales ledger holiday cover on an ad hoc basis


  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchase ledger
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Ability to solve queries and be flexible in approach
  • Capability to work independently and use own initiative
