CNC Programmer

My client is a well-established, small but very busy subcontract engineering company who do a variety work for different industry sectors including Aerospace, Motorsport, Medical, Commercial and Oil & Gas industries. They are now looking for a CNC Programmer to Program, Set and Operate Hurco Mills. The ideal candidate will be time served and would preferably have some turning knowledge.

What's on offer:

• 17.00ph - 21.00ph depending on level of experience
• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays.
• Paid overtime available.
• Free onsite parking.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Duties:

• Programming, Setting and operation of Hurco milling machines.
• Program on and offline using OneCNC software.
• Set up and run machines.
• Ability to work to very fine tolerances.
• Attention to detail.
• Work closely with the turning section to ensure efficiency.
• The ideal candidate would be willing to help out on lathes when work load is high.

Experience:

• Previous programming/setting/operating experience on CNC Mills.
• Hurco experience is preferable
• Offline programming experience preferred.
• Ideally apprentice trained however experience is more important.
