Cloud Engineer (IoT)

We are currently looking for a Cloud Software (IoT) Engineer, to join a client of ours on some ongoing projects. The project is due to go on for an inital 3 months, with possible extensions. Being based in the Thames-Valley, we are looking for someone that is able to work on site 1 day per week, on a Hybrid arrangement.

Requirements:

• IoT systems integration, protocols, and services, gRPC and MQTT
• Cloud architecture and service implementation
• Linux, Python

Desirable additional skills:

• Service deployment, IaC, containers, Docker etc
• WAN networking and network performance modelling / optimisation
• CI/CD pipelines, GIT version control, scripting, automation
• Experience and interest in space industry
• System modelling, including Matlab / Simulink
• AI / ML, particularly for optimisation
