Montessori Assistant

Reeson Education is delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Montessori Assistant in a well-established Montessori school in Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to support early years education in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

Position Details:

• Expected Start Date: 6th April 2025
• Salary: Highly competitive and dependent on experience
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Hours (Term Time):
• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead Montessori teacher in delivering a high-quality, child-led educational program.
• Support and engage children in various activities that promote independence and holistic learning.
• Prepare and maintain the learning environment in line with Montessori principles.
• Observe and document children's progress to support their development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a teaching or childcare setting (Montessori experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• A recognised childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 Certificate).
