Cyber Security Engineer

A Global Financial services firm looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join their growing Cyber team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about Cyber Security and always eager to find innovative ways of solving cyber problems. This firm will provide the environment to grow while playing a Integral part to the growth and Maturity of their London Cyber Division.

• Security tooling and management
• Threat detection and incident response
• Identity Access Management
• Security Automation & Scripting
• Vulnerability Management

Requirements:

• 7 years+ solid Cyber security experience and skills.
• Strong experience in analysing, monitoring, refining and implementing Cyber security solutions.
• Competent in applying standards such as NIST, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK to design and implement secure systems.
• Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automating security tasks and integrating tools.

Technical Background:

• Endpoint Security: Skilled in using EPP, EDR, and XDR tools i.e. Microsoft Defender and Cortex XDR.
• Application Security: Experienced in integrating security into DevOps pipelines, including automated security testing, CI/CD security, SAST/DAST, and secure coding practices.
• Identity Access Management: Expertise in IAM tools and practices such as MFA, RBAC, and PAM
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automating security tasks and integrating tools.
