Delivering over 18 million eye exams annually, and vital hearing services nationwide, we champion access, innovation, and excellence in community healthcare. We are dedicated to championing access, innovation, and excellence in community healthcare, transforming how care is delivered-from high streets to homes, clinics to communities. As demand rises and hospitals face growing pressure, we advocate for integrated, accessible services delivered closer to home-empowering professionals, influencing policy, and putting people first to ensure no one is left behind.
FODO Group is now looking for a dynamic leader to join as our next Director of Policy and Strategy. As Director of Policy and Strategy you will work closely with our members to understand the key issues, and play a pivotal, hands-on role in shaping and delivering the Group's strategic policy objectives for the eye care and audiology sector. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering evidence-based policies aligned with FODO's mission, and working with members and key stakeholders to maximise impact. You will raise awareness of sight and hearing loss as major health challenges, ensuring policy is informed by clinical insight, while supporting strategic leadership and governance.
The successful candidate will be a strategic and influential leader with a strong track record in policy development, team leadership, and delivering impact at a senior level, ideally having worked closely with public healthcare bodies. They will combine analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments, using their strong communication and influencing skills to engage effectively with key stakeholders, and drive change. Committed to inclusion and improving community health outcomes, the ideal candidate will bring sound judgement, financial and commercial acumen, and strong personal integrity.
