We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful teaching community.

The successful candidate will work with small groups of students and provide support to the classroom teacher.

This role requires a Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification or similar, as well as experience working in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to KS1 students.
• Work with small groups of students to provide targeted support and intervention.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students with their learning, including literacy and numeracy skills.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the classroom teacher.
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
• Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
• Contribute to the planning and evaluation of learning activities.
• Supervise students during break and lunchtime as needed.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom setting, preferably within KS1.
• Understanding of the KS1 curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Experience working with small groups of students.
