We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Tabor who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Teach both English Language and English Literature
• Plan, assess and provide meaningful feedback to support pupil progress
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
• Work collaboratively with the English department on curriculum planning and enrichment
• Promote a positive learning environment that encourages reading, critical thinking and confident communication

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified English Teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
• A reflective and committed classroom practitioner focused on pupil progress
• Confident and effective behaviour management skills
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply - full induction support available
