HGV Night Trunker

Class 1 night trunk drivers required for a temp to perm position, based out of Portsmouth.

The Role:

You will be required to drive a double decker to and from Portsmouth, to a distribution hub based in the midlands. The role will require you to pull curtains and secure load. You'll also be responsible for ensuring your unit and trailer are road worthy, reporting any defects.

Typical run time 10 to 13 hrs per night Monday to Friday.

Rates of Pay:

Whilst working with Drivertemps:

Paye driver £18.00 per hour

Limited company driver £20.00 per hour

Minimum 10 hour payment per shift, no break deductions.

Permenant salary:

Is paid based on 55 hours a week. Hours worked beyond 55 hours per week, will be convertered into additional holiday. Salary is £45800 a year. Our customer will arrange an ADR course for you whilst you are employed , once complete, the yearly salary will increase by £1600 a year.

Essential requirements.

• Valid HGV class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Relevant knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.
• Over 25 for insurance purposes.
• CE licence for over a year
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
