The Role
We are seeking a passionate and well-qualified Teacher of English to join our dynamic English Department from January 2026. This fixed-term position (two terms covering a leave of absence, with the possibility of extension) offers an exciting opportunity to teach pupils from Years 9 through Sixth Form, across GCSE, A Level (OCR English Literature), and the IB Diploma Programme.
A leadership role (Second in Department) may be available for an experienced candidate. The successful applicant will deliver inspiring lessons, contribute to departmental innovation, participate actively in pastoral care and co-curricular activities, and uphold the values that make Charterhouse exceptional.
