About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join a 3-bedded children's residential home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Leading and supervising staff to deliver high-quality care and safeguarding
- Acting as a positive role model for both staff and young people
- Ensuring the home complies with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
- Supporting the development and implementation of care plans
- Promoting a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for young people
What We're Looking For- Must currently hold, or have previously held, a Deputy Manager role in a children's residential setting
- Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (CYP) (essential)
- Working towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management or willing to begin on joining
- Experience within an EBD setting (essential)
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and staff teams
