Job Advert: Deputy Manager - Children's Home

Location: Romford

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join a 3-bedded children's residential home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.

• Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
• Leading and supervising staff to deliver high-quality care and safeguarding
• Acting as a positive role model for both staff and young people
• Ensuring the home complies with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
• Supporting the development and implementation of care plans
• Promoting a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for young people

• Must currently hold, or have previously held, a Deputy Manager role in a children's residential setting
• Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (CYP) (essential)
• Working towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management or willing to begin on joining
• Experience within an EBD setting (essential)
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and staff teams

• Salary circa £40,000 per annum
• Support to achieve Level 5 if not already held
