We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a beautiful nursing home for the elderly in Broadstairs. As the Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the home, delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the homeAssist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staffEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislationMonitor and maintain high standards of care and service deliveryDevelop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholdersOversee the implementation of care plans and review them regularlyParticipate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and proceduresManage budgets and resources effectivelyHandle any complaints or issues in a professional and timely mannerPromote a positive and inclusive working environment for staff and residents alikeRequirements:
Previous experience in a managerial role within a care home settingNVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualificationKnowledge of CQC regulations and requirementsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work well under pressure and make sound decisionsPassion for delivering high-quality care to the elderlyStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficient in IT and administrative tasksFlexibility to work weekends and evenings when requiredWe Offer:
