Salary: 24,318 - 30,240 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time

About Us:
Remedy Education is working with a registered charity that supports young people aged 13-16 through alternative education and vocational training, helping them build the skills they need for future success.

The Role:
We're recruiting an Art Teacher to deliver creative and engaging lessons to small groups of students who may face academic or behavioural challenges. This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire young learners and help them achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Art to small groups (up to 12 students).
• Develop lesson plans, mark work, and monitor student progress.
• Build positive relationships to support student development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to individual learning plans.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching or tutoring Art.
• A teaching qualification (DET, Cert Ed, QTS/QTLS) or working towards one.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with slight variations).
• Term-time only (39 weeks) plus 2 INSET weeks.

Salary:

• Tutor Level: 20,718 - 25,722
• Teacher Level: 24,318 - 30,240
