Mid-weight FF and E Designer

About the Role

As a Mid-weight FF&E Designer, you will play a key role in the design and execution of commercial and educational sector projects. You will be responsible for creating and managing BIM models using Revit, producing high-quality technical drawings and documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure exceptional project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mid-scale projects or significant parts of larger projects with support.
• Create and manage BIM models using Revit.
• Produce detailed technical drawings and project documentation.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to develop comprehensive design solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant British Standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Support project delivery from concept to completion.
• Manage supplier relationships and specify appropriate products.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the design team.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including design briefs and risk assessments.
• Ensure all designs are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, software, and emerging technologies.

Key Skills & Experience

• FF&E space planning experience.
• Advanced Revit skills with specific FF&E experience.
• Strong understanding of furniture specifications and space planning.
• Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of British Standards and building regulations.
• Understanding of RIBA work stages and procurement processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong project management capabilities.
