Job Title: FP&A Senior Analyst

Job Summary:
The FP&A Senior Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis processes for the reassurance division. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights and recommendations that drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance to key stakeholders.
- Provide variance analysis for actual performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Support the annual budgeting process, including data collection, consolidation, and preparation of presentations for senior management.
- Develop rolling forecasts and scenario analyses to anticipate future financial performance and risks.
- Conduct in-depth financial modeling and analysis to support business strategies and initiatives.
- Deliver actionable insights into key business drivers, risks, and opportunities for reassurance operations.
- Serve as a liaison between FP&A and other departments, including Operations, Underwriting, and Risk teams, to align financial goals and strategies.
- Assist in presenting financial results and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting critical findings and recommendations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A deliverables.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, ensuring that analysis and reporting meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles (typically 5+ years).
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for various audiences.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in the reassurance or insurance industry is highly desirable.
