Join Our Team as a UX Designer!

Are you a passionate and innovative UX Designer looking to make a difference? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your designs help shape experiences for a diverse range of colleagues and suppliers? If so, we want you to join our client on a fixed-term contract for 6 months as a UX Designer!

Role: UX Designer

Duration: 6 Months (ext. options)

Location:Welwyn Garden City (3 Days in Office)

Rate: £550 per day (umbrella)

About the Role:

As a key member of our design team, you'll be at the forefront of creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Crafting Experiences: Take charge of both large and small projects, transforming complex challenges into simple, user-friendly solutions.
• Collaborative Process: Work closely with Product Managers to identify customer problems, build testable hypotheses, and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Human-Centered Design: Advocate for user needs and champion human-centered design principles both within your team and across the organization.
• Agile Collaboration: Partner with agile squads to continuously improve our digital products, making them more accessible and user-friendly.
• Empathy Development: Collaborate with UX researchers to develop a deep understanding of our customers, including those with disabilities, validating designs through user testing.

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for someone who is not only skilled but also passionate about UX design. Here's what you need to succeed:

• A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing for web, responsive, and native applications.
• Experience with high-profile design projects in a customer-facing commercial environment.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Marvel, Miro, and Axure.
• A solid understanding of the end-to-end design process, including research, journey mapping, and usability testing.
• Strong communication skills to present ideas effectively across various levels of the organization.

Additional Skills:
