Location: Blackbushe, Hampshire

Shift: Monday to Friday (40 hours a week, Overtime at 1.5. Some weekend working required)

Pay Rate: £20 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for experienced Vehicle Technicians to join our client’s busy and professional workshop team in Southampton. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards of vehicle servicing and repair, working closely with the Workshop Supervisor and Manager.

The Role:

• Carry out general servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Perform tyre changes and fitting duties
• Undertake road tests and ramp inspections where required
• Carry out repairs in line with approved methods and manufacturer guidelines
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical or electrical faults
• Complete warranty repairs in line with dealer/manufacturer standards
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation
• Support junior technicians with guidance and training
• Assist with general workshop duties as needed
• Plan and manage workload efficiently to meet targets

The Person:

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) – essential
• Previous experience in a similar Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role
• Full UK driving licence - essential
• Strong diagnostic skills, including use of relevant equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Able to work independently and make informed decisions
• Willingness to support and guide less experienced team members
• Passionate about delivering high-quality results
