Salary: £28,191 (London weighted salary)

Reporting Office: London, Stratford

Working Location: South East London

Persona: Mobile - (Full Manual UK Driver's License Essential)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8 to 4pm

Join our Estate Services Team at L&Q:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Caretaking Operational Support Service, which is a key function of our continuing commitment to providing a responsive customer-based service for our residents.

Your impact in the role:

  • You will be working as part of a team assisting in the delivery of our estate services to provide a high standard of minor repairs in communal areas, within our blocks, and on our estates.
  • You will also be carrying out pre-planned projects involving painting, grounds work, and general improvement of schemes
  • You will be liaising directly with L&Q staff, residents, and contractors and you must have due regard to health & safety and security issues
  • You will be responsible for the vehicle, tools and equipment provided to you

What you'll bring:

  • Capable of identifying H&S risks and carrying out a variety of communal repair jobs
  • Trade skills or DIY or Gardening experience is essential.
  • A good communicator and willing to learn new skills as the service adapts to the changing needs within the Trust.
  • Confident working remotely as part of a team therefore you must have good interpersonal skills and be able to arrange work schedules and plan the implementation of work.
  • Be self-motivated, proactive, and able to organise your time effectively and be aware of safe working practices.
  • Confident in using basic IT packages
  • Be committed to providing excellent customer service
