Head Chef

Head Chef opportunity for a unique caf and charity, opportunity to create great food and be part of your local community.

In this role you will have the freedom to be creative and to provide delicious, home-cooked and baked meals using fresh, locally sourced produce.

Job Requirements:

• Level 3 food hygiene
• Previous experience in creating and preparing vegetarian and vegan cuisine is desirable
• Willingness to help train and develop team members
• Outgoing with an interest in people and the community
• Proven track record in working to deadlines

Responsibilities

• Menu planning and food preparation
• Ensuring timely turnaround of orders
• Line mangement of kitchen team
• Sourcing local produce
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards
• Engaging with customers to develop menus
