Science Tutor- GCSE

Job Title: GCSE Science TutorLocation: Thamesmead, LondonPay Rate: £25-£35 per hourJob Type: Temporary Part-Time Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging tuition across GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
• Consolidate KS3 knowledge while introducing key GCSE concepts to strengthen exam prep.
• Personalise lesson plans to target gaps in understanding and build learner confidence.
• Support students with SEN by adapting teaching methods to ensure accessibility and motivation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in Scienc at KS3/GCSE level.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.

Desired:

• QTS or a Science related degree.
• Experience preparing students for GCSE exams.
• Expereince supporting learners with SEN.
