Located in the picturesque town of Ashtead, Surrey, this role offers a competitive daily rate of £85 - £95, ensuring you're fairly compensated for your expertise and dedication. As a Learning Support Assistant (SEN), you'll be at the forefront of delivering tailored support, creating inclusive learning environments, and fostering the academic, social, and emotional progress of your students. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with a range of SEND, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties
  • Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Adapting teaching materials and resources to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their full potential
  • Monitoring and recording student progress, and reporting on their achievements and challenges
  • Promoting independence, self-care, and life skills development
  • Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

To thrive in this role, you'll need to possess a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND, as well as a deep understanding of their diverse needs and how to effectively address them. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team are essential.
