We are currently looking for a MRF Engineer Assistant to join our busy and forward-thinking team in the vibrant Greater London area. Hours of Work: Full-time

As a MRF Engineer Assistant, you will support the engineering team with daily operations at our Materials Recycling Facility. Your responsibilities will include assisting with faults and repairs, tracking machinery, and maintaining equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation. You will help with changing belts and motors, operating key machinery like the baler, and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep everything running optimally.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working on MRFs or similar machinery is preferred.
  2. Possess hydraulic experience and basic fault-finding skills.
  3. Hold relevant electrical qualifications or experience, ideally single or three-phase.
  4. Possess hydraulic skills; other advantageous certifications include MEWPS and forklift licences.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a proactive attitude are essential.
