As a Teacher of English, you will deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Experience teaching Key Stage 5 is highly desirable and may offer further opportunities for growth. Our school in Newham is dedicated to academic excellence, student voice, and creative learning.

• Plan and teach dynamic English lessons that challenge, support, and inspire
• Develop students' literacy, analytical skills, and passion for reading and writing
• Use assessment to track progress and inform effective teaching
• Contribute to a collaborative English department and whole-school initiatives
• Foster a classroom culture where all students feel confident and heard

• Holds QTS and a degree in English or a related field
• Is experienced or newly qualified (ECTs welcome) with a clear commitment to ongoing development
• Has strong subject knowledge and a desire to teach at all key stages, including KS5 where appropriate
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management, planning, and communication skills
