Mechanical Project Engineer - Commercial Gas/HVAC

50k- 60k Basic Salary (negotiable and depending on experience) + Pension + Benefits

Location - North Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire

Alecto Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join one of our clients, who are a leading and well-established provider of Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services solutions.

You'll need to have relevant experience technically and of Commercial Gas Boilers, HVAC, Plant Rooms, Chillers etc.

You'll also need to live local to North Hertfordshire, therefore suitable areas include, Hitchin, Stevenage, Letchworth, Luton, Shefford, Biggleswade etc.

Job Role:

• As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing design, implementation and completion of mechanical systems across commercial premises.
• Project Management, coordinate and ensure projects are completed on time, efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Manage materials procurement, site resources etc.
• Mainly office based, with some site visits, client meetings etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Desired - Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering OR Building Services.
• Alternatively extensive experience and qualifications in Commercial Gas (COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a) and HVAC.
• Proven Mechanical and Project Engineer experience.
• Knowledge of Commercial Gas, Boilers, HVAC, Mechanical Plant and Chillers.
