Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Are you an experienced educator passionate about supporting pupils' learning and development? Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the Key Stage 2 team at a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Colindale, NW9.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with teachers to provide targeted support across Key Stage 2. You will deliver lessons in the teacher's absence, provide one-to-one tutoring, and lead small group instruction to support pupils' academic and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lesson Delivery: Deliver engaging lessons to whole classes during teacher absences.
• Small Group Instruction: Provide tailored support to small groups to reinforce classroom learning.
• Individualised Support: Offer one-to-one tutoring to pupils needing extra assistance.
• Behaviour Management: Implement effective strategies to promote positive behaviour and focus.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Key Stage 2.
• Qualification: HLTA status or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Skills: Strong understanding of behaviour management and adapting learning strategies.
• Attributes: Adaptable, empathetic, and committed to supporting pupil development.
