We're working with a leading provider of mental health services seeking a dedicated DBT Lead Therapist to oversee and deliver high-quality DBT interventions across both inpatient and outpatient care.
About the RoleAs the DBT Lead Therapist, you will coordinate referrals, assessments, and treatment plans while supporting a team of DBT-trained clinicians. Your leadership will help ensure programme fidelity and guide service users through structured therapeutic pathways. The DBT Lead Therapist will also liaise with multidisciplinary teams to promote integrated, person-centred care.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact for the DBT programme
Deliver individual and group DBT sessions using evidence-based approaches
Provide supervision and support to DBT-trained colleagues
Monitor client progress using outcome measures and ensure service development
Contribute to a psychologically safe and collaborative therapeutic environment
Minimum: Intensive DBT Training (British Isles DBT Training)
Desirable: PGDip in DBT
Experience delivering DBT in a structured mental health setting
Strong communication, clinical leadership, and risk assessment skills
