As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across Science subjects to students in the absence of the class teacher

• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment

• Support students with their learning and respond to questions where possible

• Liaise with teaching staff and report on student progress and behaviour

• Help maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere in the classroom

• A strong interest in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• Ability to engage and motivate students

• Ideally a degree (in any subject) or relevant experience in a school setting

• Right to work in the UK and a current DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)

• Aspiring teachers or graduates looking to gain experience before applying for a PGCE or teacher training
