An established nursing and residential care home in the Colchester area is seeking an experienced and commercially aware Home Manager to lead the service into its next phase of growth.

The home is currently rated Good with the CQC and has a stable foundation in place. The provider is looking for a strong, visible leader who can build on this success - driving occupancy, maintaining high standards of care, and embedding a positive, performance-focused culture.

You will be responsible for:

• Overall operational and clinical oversight of the service
• Maintaining and improving quality and compliance standards
• Driving occupancy and strengthening local relationships
• Leading, developing and retaining a motivated team
• Managing budgets and ensuring the home operates efficiently

This role would suit an experienced Home Manager who combines strong people leadership with commercial awareness and understands how to balance quality care with business performance.

• Proven experience managing a nursing and/or residential care home
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safeguarding
• Confident in managing budgets and improving occupancy levels
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
• Nurse qualification desirable, but not essential

• Salary circa £80,000
