Yard Operative

The role:
To assist the Warehouse with ensuring all aspects of the yard operation are conducted safely and in a timely manner.
Taking reasonable care of both your own health & safety and that of others, ensuring all company safety & quality systems are followed at all times and report any incidents or suggestions to your line manager.
Controlling the movements on site and the smooth-running running of vehicles entering and exiting the yard
Control of all vehicle movements within the yard environment
Logging all inbound driver arrival and departure times
Ensuring the yard & surrounding areas are maintained to a high level of housekeeping

The Ideal Candidate:
Good communication skills
Be able to make decisions and cope in a pressured environment
Able to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
Owing to location of business a full Driving License and access to a vehicle

Sunday to Thursday with options for overtime, shifts below.
Monday - Thursday 10:00 - 19:00
Sunday 07:30 - 16:30
