Good Law Project is looking for a Student Movement Lead to join our team.

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Student Network Lead to launch and coordinate university-based networks across the UK. In this hands-on role, you will navigate the complexities of student activism, successfully bridging the gap between grassroots energy and professional campaign strategy. You will bring our blueprint to life, acting as the vital link between GLP and local campus groups. By creating tailored resources and sharing our technological and campaigning expertise, you will empower students to tackle urgent issues-from fighting authoritarianism, misogyny, and transphobia to protecting free speech. Ultimately, you will build a lasting, well-organised movement that equips students to fight for democratic accountability and legal justice.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience building a diverse range of resources for use in organising and network building
  • Understanding of the higher education sector and cultures across universities
  • Familiarity with digital brand and GDPR compliance within a volunteer network
  • Proven understanding of safeguarding and ability to demonstrate its application across distributed networks
  • Proven ability to understand, manage and mitigate risk in a distributed networks, especially organisational reputation and legal exposure
  • Passionate about GLP's goals of legal empowerment and democratic accountability

Key Details

Salary: £37,000 per annum with generous benefits including 25 days annual holiday plus public holidays, non-contributory pension scheme, private medical health insurance, life assurance

Hours: 35 over 5 days

Contract type: 12 month fixed term

Location: Hybrid working with office in central London and options for flexibility to work from home. The postholder will be expected to attend our central London office regularly - minimum of 2/3 days a week
