Are you a patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role in Key Stage 2? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in St Albans, Hertfordshire, who are seeking a committed Year 5 1:1 TA/LSA to provide tailored support to a pupil from ASAP.

This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys making a real difference to a child's learning, confidence, and engagement, and who thrives in a supportive school environment.

• Full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant role supporting a pupil in Year 5

• Providing individualised academic, social, and emotional support

• Supporting the class teacher with classroom routines where appropriate

• Helping the pupil stay focused, engaged, and confident in their learning

• Implementing strategies and interventions as guided by the SENCo and class teacher

• Supporting the child's independence, resilience, and positive behaviour for learning

• Contributing to a calm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

• Experienced TAs, LSAs, or Learning Support Practitioners with KS2 experience

• Candidates with experience supporting pupils with additional needs (SEND)

• Calm, patient, and nurturing individuals who build positive relationships

• Those looking for a meaningful 1:1 role within a supportive primary school setting
