Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team, working across multiple MOD and RAF sites. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in grounds maintenance and hold a valid UK driving licence, as travel between sites is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general grounds maintenance duties including grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, weeding, and litter picking

• Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively (e.g., mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters)

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all outdoor areas

• Follow site-specific safety and security protocols, especially when working on MOD/RAF premises

• Complete daily job sheets and vehicle checks as required

• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and service expectations

Requirements:

• Must have previous experience in a similar grounds maintenance role

• Full UK driving licence is essential

• Able to pass security clearance or already hold clearance for MOD/RAF sites (preferred)

• Good understanding of health and safety practices

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
