Salary: 17.00 - 23.00 per hour

We are partnering with a local council to recruit a dedicated Pest Control Officer to support the delivery of an effective, responsive pest management service across the London Borough of Enfield. This role focuses on maintaining high service standards while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of residents through prompt and professional pest control solutions. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a resident-focused service that upholds environmental health standards within the community.

Responsibilities:

• Surveying, identifying, and treating pest issues within council properties to ensure public health and safety.
• Providing advice and guidance to residents and clients on effective pest prevention and treatment strategies.
• Assisting the Senior Pest Control Officer and Public Health Officers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, treatments, and outcomes in line with council procedures and legal requirements.
• Operating and maintaining pest control equipment safely and in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Staying informed on current pest control legislation, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing training and development.
• Responding promptly to pest control service requests, prioritising cases based on level of risk and urgency.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• Royal Society of Health Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Pest Management or British Pest Control Association Part 2 Advanced Diploma
