Overview

A well-established and growing financial planning firm is seeking a qualified Financial Planner to join their team in a dual role that combines client-facing advice with operational leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced adviser who enjoys working with clients but also has a passion for improving team performance and business operations.

The Role

This hybrid position is ideal for someone who wants to continue delivering high-quality financial advice while also playing a key role in supporting adviser performance, team coordination, and strategic development.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning:

• Provide holistic financial advice to a portfolio of clients.
• Maintain high standards of compliance, documentation, and service delivery.
• Identify opportunities for referrals, new business, and deeper client engagement.
• Contribute to the firm's reputation for excellence through consistent, client-focused planning.

Operational Leadership:

• Support adviser performance through regular 1:1s, workload reviews, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with paraplanning and admin teams to resolve operational issues and align efforts.
• Liaise with compliance on case clearance and provide 360 feedback.
• Lead adviser recruitment and onboarding in partnership with HR.
• Provide MI and KPIs to support senior leadership and business planning.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma-qualified (minimum Level 4) Financial Planner with a desire to obtain Chartered Status.
• Experience in a leadership or operational support role within a financial planning environment.
• A strong client focus with Excellent communication, organisational, and team management skills.
• Comfortable balancing client responsibilities with strategic and operational input.
