Prep Chef

Are you passionate about fresh food preparation and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Our client in Luton is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Prep Chef to join their team. This role focuses on preparing sandwiches for display in a retail cabinet, ensuring they are fresh, appealing, and ready for customers to purchase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other grab-and-go items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Ensure food is neatly packaged and attractively displayed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the preparation area
• Follow food hygiene and safety regulations
• Assist with stock management and replenishment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen (experience with sandwich preparation is highly desirable)
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• A proactive, reliable, and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
