Forklift Driver

We are seeking a Forklift Driver to join our team in Basildon. This role requires operating forklifts safely and efficiently. Candidates with a reach licence are preferred, however, those with an in-date counterbalance licence are also encouraged to apply. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule and is ideal for someone looking for stable early morning shifts.

• Operate forklift equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods and materials.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure operational safety and performance.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities.
• Report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to management.

• Valid reach or counterbalance forklift licence.
• Proven experience as a Forklift Driver.
• Good understanding of modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Excellent coordination and organisational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• High degree of attention to detail.
