3.5 TONNE VAN DRIVER

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to join our well-established client based in South Ockendon. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Working any five days out seven

Day Shifts: 05:00 - 08:00 start times

Night Shifts: 22:00 - 02:00 start times

Pay rate: £14.27 - £25.69 per hour

Rates of Pay

• Days: £14.27 per hour
• Days Overtime after 45 hours £21.41 per hour
• Nights: £17.13 per hour
• Overtime after 45 hours £25.69 per hour

Day to day duties

Your day to day duties as a Van Driver will be, but not limited to:

• Making high volume multi drop deliveries
• Driving delivery vans safely and efficiently
• Load your own vehicle at start of shift
• Store deliveries and collections
• Complete vehicle checks
• Ensure all loads are safe and secure

Essential skills

Essential skills as a Van Driver:

• Must have a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• A minimum of twelve months' experience of van delivery driving
• Need to be able to communicate effectively
• No more than six points for MINOR offences
• Great work ethic

Desirable experience

• Multi drop delivery experience is preferred but not essential

Training

• Candidates must pass a driving assessment to be successful for this role
