Spanish Teacher - Lambeth Immediate or January 2026 Start

Location: Lambeth, South LondonPosition: Spanish Teacher (KS3-KS4, with potential KS5)Start Date: ASAP or January 2026Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (potential for permanent role)Salary: £160-£240 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)

We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Lambeth that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate MFL specialist who is committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, the school offers a supportive environment with strong leadership, excellent resources, and a culture that values language learning.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Develop pupils' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish

• Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs

• Monitor, assess and report on student progress

• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including language clubs or international events

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Strong subject knowledge in Spanish and familiarity with UK curriculum standards

• Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level (including teaching placements for ECTs)

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Right to work in the UK
