Groundworker

Role: Groundworker/LabourerLocation: GuildfordRate: £20 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 17:00 PMDuration: Starting ASAP, minimum of 4 weeks of work.

Our client is a multidisciplinary, main contractor excelling in the delivery of construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, currently looking for an experienced Groundworker to work on a busy civils site in Guildford.

As a Groundworker, your duties will include:

• Shallow and deep drainage works
• Concreting, kerbing, and slabbing
• Trenching and ducting
• Preparing footings and foundations
• Assisting with pipelaying and manhole installations
• Working closely with machine operators and other site trades

Successful Groundworker must have the following:

• Valid CSCS card (Blue Skilled Worker preferred)
• Good knowledge of drainage and general groundwork practices
• CPCS/NPORS for Dumper/Roller would be preferable
