Role:Wireperson/Wireman (Substation)

Location:Common Road, Newham, London E16 4ET

Rate:£34.00 per hour (Weekdays) PAYE ONLY £51.00 per hour (Weekends & Bank Holidays)

Hours:07:30 AM - 18:00 PM (30 min break)

Duration:4 months

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specialising in power and distribution projects across the UK, is currently seeking a Wireperson/Wireman to join them on a busy substation site in Newham.

As a Wireperson/Wireman, your duties will include:

• Installing and terminating electrical wiring and cabling within a substation environment

• Supporting electrical commissioning activities

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics

• Ensuring all work is carried out to high safety standards

The successful Wireperson/Wireman must have:

• CSCS/ECS card

• Manual Handling

• Emergency First Aid at Work

• EUSR Utility SHEA Power

• Slinger Signaller

• COSHH Awareness

• Fire Safety Awareness

• NG Person (Substation)
