Electronic Electrical Design Engineer

About Us:Our client is a leading name in the marine industry and now looking for an Electronic and Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team. They are a design and manufacture of top-quality marine products.The Role:We are looking for an experienced Marine Electronics Engineer to design, develop, commission, and maintain cutting-edge marine electronic systems. You'll work with PLCs, electric circuits, and embedded software while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role involves both office-based design work and on-site commissioning.Key Responsibilities:? Design and develop electrical circuits (AC/DC) and PCB layouts for marine applications.? Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs and develop embedded software in C programming.? Commission and maintain electric motors, switching circuits, and motor controllers.? Conduct on-site commissioning and fault-finding when needed.? Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with marine electronic standards.? Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and clients.Salary Package:

• Competitive Annual Salary - £40,000-£50,000

What We're Looking For:? Strong knowledge of marine electronic standards (N2K).? Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens) and fault-finding skills.? Experience with electric motors, switching circuits, and motor controllers.? Proficiency in Eplan, AutoCAD, and Hydraw for design.? Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.? 3+ years of experience in marine electronics or a similar role.? Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning when required.Bonus Skills:? Experience with hydraulic systems and knowledge of marine product certification.? Practical experience in marine environments (personal or professional).
