About the Role:

anzuk Education is recruiting for an experienced and organised Cover Lead for a permanent role in a secondary school in Lambeth. To apply for this role, you must have UK school administration experience as a Cover Lead and be able to act as a Cover Supervisor for two periods a week. We can only accept candidates with a valid right to work in the UK. Experience with SIMs is preferred. Strong organisational skills, scheduling experience and behaviour management techniques are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure the effective management of short-term and long-term staff absence by organising and deploying cover supervisors, supply teachers, and teaching staff to cover lessons. The Cover Lead plays a pivotal role in maintaining continuity of education for students while minimising disruption.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the update or be willing to apply for one at registration with anzuk
• Available ASAP for a full-time opportunity - We will accept candidates with a maximum of a six week notice period
• Minimum six months of experience working in a school in the UK in a cover role
• Must be able to act as a Cover Supervisor for two periods a week
• Must have strong behaviour management techniques
• Strong organisational skills and scheduling skills
• Able to multitask and manage calendars
