Salary £16.00 per hour

Contract: Permanent,Part time, Term-time

Hours

• Breakfast Club: 7.30am - 9.00am
• After-School Club: 3.00pm - 6.30pm

We are looking for a QualifiedLevel 3 Playworker for our Breakfast & Afterschool Clubfora primary school located in East Dulwich.

The Role

As breakfast and after-school club playworker, you will be working with Reception-aged children (4 years old), supporting their development through play in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.

This role would be particular suitable for candidates who loves close to the East Dulwich area,

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the daily running of the wraparound provision
• Leading or assisting with structured play, creative activities and games
• Ensuring children are safe, happy and engaged
• Helping with breakfast and snack routines
• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents
• Carry out daily health and safety checks, ensuring good hygiene and health and safety standards are met

Qualification Skills:

• NVQ Level 3 in Playworker, Early Years Childcare qualification
• Experience of working with children within a childcare setting
• Paediatric First Aid qualification;
• Experience of successfully building trust and rapport with children and their parents;
• Knowledge of Ofsted standards and legislation
• Knowledge of Designated Safeguarding Officer role

You will need to have a clear enhanced DBS Check, either on the Government Update Service or alternatively we can carry out one for you.
