Redhill, Surrey£40,000-£50,000 + BenefitsImmediate Start AvailableOur clientA leading plant hire company, is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join their busy yard in Redhill, Surrey.If you're hands-on, mechanically minded, and ready to take ownership of equipment maintenance and servicing, this is your opportunity to step into a rewarding, site-based role with a company that values expertise and initiative.What You'll Be DoingInspecting and checking in returned hire equipment (ladders, platforms, equipment hoists, personnel hoists)Performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure readiness for next hireErecting and assembling scaffold and hoist equipmentServicing and installing hoistsWorking with electrical equipment and applying basic electrical knowledgeWhat You'll Need:Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systemsMaterials handling experience (ideal but not essential)A proactive, safety-conscious approachWillingness to learnHours & Perks:Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (site-based)Competitive salary: £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience22 days holiday + bank holidaysPrivate medical insurance after qualifying periodImmediate interviews and start available for the right candidate.
