Social, Emotional and Mental Health- Teaching Assistant

SEMH Teaching Assistant - SecondarySalary: £22,000 - £23,000 per annumHours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:15pm

We are seeking a resilient and committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

This is a rewarding but demanding role where you will work closely with students who require structured support, emotional regulation strategies, and consistent boundaries to succeed academically and personally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support

• Supporting behaviour management and de-escalation

• Building positive, professional relationships with students

• Assisting teachers in delivering adapted lessons

Important: The school is not easily accessible via public transport, so access to your own transport is highly recommended.

Experience in SEMH, behaviour support, youth work, or alternative provision is highly desirable. Send CV at
