Project Quantity Surveyor (Residential Developer) - Central London - £65-75,000 + package

We are working with an established Regional Developer who are gaining a foothold in the London Market with long-term growth and expansion plans.You will be supported by the Northern Commercial team initially focusing on the £30M Cut and Crave in North London.As the business establishes itself in London Projects scale up to include £100M RC Frame New Build, Cut & Carve and some Traditional build in the Home counties.
Your role will include:

  • Carrying out accurate build cost assessments; maintain budget control throughout development; and manage cost overruns within tolerance levels.
  • Accurate costing and preparation of budgets for each aspect of site development.
  • Analysing and reporting on costs and cash flow vs budget
  • Preparing tenders and procure sub-contractors, goods and materials
  • Evaluating and agreeing variations and instructions.
  • Using a payments system for the payment of sub-contractors and the supply of goods and materials.
  • Management of Sub-Contract accounts through to completion including valuations, payments, variations, forecast final accounts and contractual correspondence.
  • Produce monthly cost reports on time, in conjunction with the Team.

  • You will have:
  • A Degree (or equivalent).
  • 5 or more years PQE.
  • Previous relevant experience in residential construction ideally with a Developer.
