Learning Support Assistant

We are working alongside an inclusive and international multicultural Secondary School in Newham that is actively seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive and hardworking team.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be there to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to attain their maximum potential in all aspects of the rich and diverse curriculum they deliver. You will be working alongside a dedicated inclusion team, teacher and SLT as well as having an opportunity to engage with specialists regularly.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Hold small group/1:1 sessions inside and outside the classroom
Support students with SEND and the wider school
Monitor progress against targets and create action plans to continue

Learning Support Assistant
Working across KS3, KS4 & KS5
£105 - £110 per day - Term time only
Located in Newham
ASAP Start
Full-time role - Monday - Friday - No weekends - 8:30am - 3:30pm

Provide support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs
To work alongside a supportive, friendly, and determined inclusion staff
To facilitate the differentiation of tasks for students
High quality and bespoke CPD to be provided
